Challenges in Implementation of Environmental Impact Assessment Among Islamic Countries

Environmental destruction caused by development activities has become a major concern among the global community. To overcome problem, environmental impact assessment (EIA) been introduced as tool that can help manage environment in activities. EIA implemented more than 100 countries around world including Islamic countries. However, implementation of not comprehensively understood. The objective this study is to identify and challenges faced implementing EIA. This looks at from point policy legislation.
